Mod Melts are specially formulated glue gun refills from the Mod Podge range, designed for crafters who want to add colour, shine and sparkle to their hot glue projects. Whether you're a card maker, scrapbooker or general crafter, Mod Melts give you creative options beyond standard clear glue.
This category includes three types of Mod Melts for glue guns: Colours for adding vibrant hues to your work, Metallics for creating lustrous, shimmering effects, and Glitters for extra sparkle and dimension. Crafters use these to add decorative hot glue details to cards, embellish scrapbook layouts, attach embellishments with colour-coordinated adhesive, and create dimensional effects that complement their designs.
When choosing your Mod Melts, consider the colour palette of your project and whether you want subtle shimmer or bold sparkle. Remember that hot glue guns require a moment to heat up, so test your chosen melt on scrap paper first to see how the colour or effect looks when it cools. This helps you achieve the exact finish you're aiming for.
