Media Fluid Acrylic paints from DecoArt are perfect for crafters who want to add shimmer and special effects to their papercraft projects. Whether you're a card maker, stamper or scrapbooker, these paints offer something a little different from standard acrylics.
This category features interference paints in gorgeous colours including green, blue and gold. Interference paints have a unique quality—they shift and change colour depending on the angle and light, creating an eye-catching iridescent effect. Crafters use these paints to add dimension to backgrounds, embellish stamped images, highlight details on cards, or create striking accents on scrapbook layouts.
When choosing an interference paint, think about the base colours in your project and how the shimmer will interact with them. These paints work beautifully layered over darker backgrounds where the reflective quality really shines through. Start with a small amount and test on scrap paper first—a little goes a long way with interference effects, and you can always add more if you'd like a bolder result.
