The Viscosity Cup category features specialist tools from Duncan, designed for crafters who work with glazes, paints and other liquid mediums. Whether you're a ceramic artist, potter or mixed-media crafter, these tools help you achieve consistent, professional results.
In this category you'll find viscosity cups – precision measuring tools that help you test and adjust the thickness of your glazes and paints. Crafters typically use them to ensure their liquid mediums flow smoothly and coat evenly, whether you're glazing pottery, screen printing or working with other techniques that rely on perfectly balanced consistency.
When choosing a viscosity cup, consider the types of mediums you work with most often. A useful tip is to keep detailed notes of your measurements and results – this helps you replicate successful batches and troubleshoot any consistency issues more quickly. Always clean your cup thoroughly after use to prevent dried residue from affecting future measurements.
