Invited Easel Card with Gold Frame and Window

Create an elegant easel card using the Invited embossing folder on white card, then add a gold frame effect and a small window featuring a detail from the Foreign Romance paper pad. This timeless design works for weddings, celebrations, and special occasions.

Step by step

1. Run the Invited embossing folder through on white card stock. ▶ watch 45:45
2. Run the Invited embossing folder through again on gold card stock. ▶ watch 46:00
3. Fussy-cut the frame from the gold card, removing the interior to create a frame effect. ▶ watch 46:15
4. Cut a small window detail from the Foreign Romance paper pad. ▶ watch 46:45
5. Mount the white embossed easel card onto a mat layer. ▶ watch 47:00
6. Layer the gold frame on top of the white card. ▶ watch 47:30
7. Adhere the small paper window detail in the centre of the easel frame. ▶ watch 48:00
8. Add a sentiment such as 'Enjoy your day' on a washi tape tab to the side of the card. ▶ watch 48:30

Tips from the show

• The Invited easel is an A6 size and works beautifully as a standalone card or can be incorporated into larger designs.
• You can paint or colour the embossed design, add waxes, or keep it clean and simple depending on your preference.
• The beauty of these embossing folders is that you have options—play around and have fun with different techniques.
