Create an elegant card featuring a beautiful embossed abbey design on translucent vellum, layered over romantic Parisian-themed patterned paper in soft pinks and purples. The HD 3D embossing folder creates stunning dimension on both sides of the vellum, giving a sophisticated parchment-like appearance that showcases the intricate architectural details.

Step by step

1. 

   Place a piece of vellum into the Abbey HD 3D embossing folder, lining it up carefully with the HD 3D marking on the right side of the folder.

2. 

   Place the vellum sheet inside the embossing folder and run it through your die-cutting machine. Listen for the satisfying crunch sound that indicates the embossing has been successful.

3. 

   Open the embossing folder to reveal the embossed vellum. Observe the dimensional effect created on both the front and back of the vellum, showing the raised cathedral design.

4. 

   Select a coordinating paper from the Foreign Romance paper pad. Position the embossed vellum piece over the chosen paper and secure it in place using adhesive tape.

5. 

   Mount the layered embossed vellum piece onto a pink card blank using adhesive.

6. 

   Add a sentiment to the base of the card. Choose a phrase such as 'Everything about you is amazing' or similar from your Design Romance collection.

Tips from the show

• You can use any vellum you have in your stash; the embossing works beautifully on all types.
• The embossing folder creates dimension on both sides, so you can choose which side to display based on your preference.
• Change up the design by using different card stocks and mediums with your embossing folders for varied effects.
