Reflection and Lamination Stamp Card

A card using the reflection and lamination stamp set to create a hand-painted watercolour effect. The two-part stamp system allows you to layer the reflection element with the coloured lamination layer for depth and movement.

Step by step

1. Stamp the reflection portion of the stamp onto your card or paper using black ink. ▶ watch 42:00
2. Colour the lamination layer of the stamp with pink, orange and yellow inks or markers. ▶ watch 42:15
3. Spray the coloured lamination layer lightly with water. ▶ watch 42:30
4. Stamp the wet coloured lamination layer over the black reflection to create a blended watercolour effect. ▶ watch 42:45
5. Allow the card to dry completely. ▶ watch 43:00
6. Mount onto a card blank and add a sentiment if desired. ▶ watch 43:15

Tips from the show

• You can use either the reflection layer or the lamination layer separately if you prefer.
• The reflection element creates a striking effect with just black ink and no additional colouring needed.
• Spraying with water before stamping the coloured layer creates a beautiful bleed and watercolour appearance.
