Create a sophisticated masculine card featuring serene tree silhouettes in muted tones of purple, orange and grey. This refined design uses distress ink techniques and clean stamping to produce an understated, nature-inspired card perfect for male recipients. The project combines layered imagery with subtle colour blending for a polished, contemporary finish.

Step by step

1. Select a neutral card base colour such as grey or kraft. Choose a shade that will complement masculine elements and provide a subtle background for your design. ▶ watch 43:00
2. Stamp the reflection tree design onto your card panel using black or dark brown ink. Position the stamp carefully to create the desired image on the card surface. ▶ watch 43:30
3. Apply distress ink in complementary neutral tones around the stamped lavender image using an ink blending tool. Work the ink gently around the edges of the stamped design to add depth and dimension. ▶ watch 44:15
4. Layer different coloured inks to add depth and texture to your stamped images. Apply lighter colours first, then add darker tones on top to create subtle shading and dimension. ▶ watch 45:00
5. Select a masculine sentiment from your stamp set. Stamp it onto the white panel of your card using black ink. ▶ watch 46:00
6. Add minimal embellishments to maintain a masculine aesthetic. Position a small decorative element on the card, keeping the design refined and understated. ▶ watch 47:00
7. Mount your finished design onto a contrasting card base. Position the decorated panel centrally on the card front and secure in place with adhesive. ▶ watch 48:00
