Step by step

  1. Prepare your card base. Look through the decorative papers in your kit and select your colour scheme for the watercolour background you'll be creating. ▶ watch 14:15
  2. Stamp the floral design onto white cardstock using your chosen ink colour. Press the stamp firmly and evenly to ensure a clear image transfer. ▶ watch 15:00
  3. Apply watercolour or diluted ink to your card panel using a blending tool or sponge to create a soft, misty background effect. Build up the colour gradually, blending as you go for a gentle watercolour wash. ▶ watch 15:30
  4. Use the layering stencil from the kit to create 3D roses. Ink the stencil with the dye inks and die-cut multiple layers to build up dimensional floral elements. ▶ watch 16:00
  5. Build up the 3D flowers by layering the cut floral pieces together. Use foam pads between the layers to create dimension and depth. Position the layered flowers onto your card design. ▶ watch 17:00
  6. Select a sentiment stamp from the set and stamp it onto your card. Position the text centrally on the card front where desired. ▶ watch 18:30
  7. Attach the 3D floral embellishments to your card base using foam pads to create dimension. Position them over the watercolour background, layering the flowers and foliage elements for a dimensional effect. ▶ watch 19:30
  8. Add optional embellishments such as glitter or sparkle to your finished card for extra shine and dimension. This step allows you to personalise your card with additional decorative touches. ▶ watch 21:00
