Lamination Stamp Card with Watercolour Effect

Create an artistic card using the lamination stamp system with two-part stamping. Ink the solid colour portion with watercolours, spray with water, then add fine detail with a second stamp for a painted effect.

Step by step

  1. Prepare a craft-coloured card blank as your base. ▶ watch 19:30
  2. Select the solid black lamination stamp and position it on your card. ▶ watch 20:30
  3. Ink up the stamp using multiple dye-based ink colours (white, orange, pink) by tapping the stamp onto the ink pads. ▶ watch 20:45
  4. Spray the inked stamp lightly with water to create a watercolour effect. ▶ watch 21:15
  5. Stamp the colour portion onto your card, pressing down firmly. ▶ watch 21:30
  6. Allow the card to dry completely. ▶ watch 22:00
  7. Clean your stamp and ink up the detailed outline stamp using black ink. ▶ watch 22:15
  8. Line up the detail stamp carefully with the coloured portion, using the visible colour as a guide. ▶ watch 23:45
  9. Stamp the detail portion onto the card to complete the layered effect. ▶ watch 24:15
  10. Add a sentiment stamp underneath the design if desired, leaving plenty of white space. ▶ watch 25:00
