The Background Gallery 2 collection from Ultimate Crafts is perfect for card makers and stampers who want to add depth and visual interest to their projects. Whether you're creating greetings cards, scrapbook layouts or mixed media pieces, these products help you build stunning backgrounds that make your designs stand out.
This category features a range of embossing folders and texture plates with diverse design themes. You'll find options inspired by nature, such as floral silhouettes and lattice patterns, alongside more decorative styles like jewellery-inspired designs, mosaic effects and oil paint textures. There are also more dramatic choices, from fireworks to hidden temple scenes. These products work beautifully for stamping, embossing and creating layered backgrounds that add dimension to your cards and layouts.
When choosing a background design, consider the overall mood you want to create and how it will complement your focal images and sentiment. Lighter, more delicate patterns like florals work well with elegant designs, whilst bolder textures can anchor busier compositions. Experiment with different cardstock weights and embossing powders to discover the effects that suit your style best.
