Tim Holtz Idea-ology Adornments are decorative elements designed for card makers, scrapbookers and mixed-media crafters who want to add dimensional detail and character to their projects. These pieces work beautifully for anyone looking to move beyond flat embellishments and create more layered, textured designs.
This collection includes a variety of three-dimensional adornments, from architectural pieces like the Lamp Post to thematic word plaques and tags. The Halloween-inspired Word Plaques + Tags bring seasonal personality to your work, whilst pieces like the Lamp Post add structure and visual interest to cards, layouts and mixed-media projects. These adornments are perfect for creating focal points, adding narrative details, or building layered compositions that draw the eye.
When choosing adornments, think about the overall style and theme of your project first—these pieces work best when they complement rather than overwhelm your design. Consider how you'll attach them; dimensional adornments often benefit from foam dots or strong adhesives to ensure they stay secure, especially on cards that will be posted or handled frequently.
