Pressed Flower Embossed Card with Die-Cut Elements

Create a layered card using the new 3D HD embossing folder with integrated dies. The embossing folder creates detailed flower and foliage elements that you can leave embossed or die-cut out to build your own composition, giving you flexibility in card design without fussy cutting.

Step by step

1. Pop white card stock into the embossing folder with the die still taped inside. ▶ watch 13:45
2. Run the card through your die-cutting machine using your standard plate settings. ▶ watch 14:00
3. Remove the card and observe the embossed detail with the die-cut elements still in place. ▶ watch 14:15
4. Gently pop out all the individual embossed flower and foliage pieces from the card. ▶ watch 14:30
5. Arrange the die-cut elements on your card base to create your own composition, building corners, singles, tops, bottoms or wreaths as desired. ▶ watch 14:45
6. Adhere the embossed elements to your card using adhesive. ▶ watch 15:00
7. Add any additional embellishments or sentiments to complete your card. ▶ watch 15:15

Tips from the show

• You can take the die out of the embossing folder by gently peeling back the low-tack tape, allowing you to use the folder as a traditional 3D embossing folder for backgrounds without cutting.
• The stencil created by the die-cut can be saved and used separately for spraying or inking techniques.
• Run multiple cards through at once and keep the embellishments in containers for quick card-making occasions.
