Coloured Embossed Leaf Card with Sentiment

Emboss the Into the Forest folder with white cardstock, then add a subtle watercolour wash to the leaves. Layer onto a card base with a sentiment stamp for a nature-inspired, elegant card.

Step by step

1. Run white cardstock through the Into the Forest 3D embossing folder. ▶ watch 17:45
2. Using a fine brush and watercolour or ink, paint the raised leaf details with soft colour. ▶ watch 18:15
3. Allow the colour to dry completely. ▶ watch 19:00
4. Mount the embossed and coloured panel onto a contrasting card base. ▶ watch 20:00
5. Stamp a sentiment onto the card using black or coordinating ink. ▶ watch 22:00
6. Add any final embellishments such as Quattro D elements or foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 24:00

Tips from the show

• The Into the Forest folder works for all seasons and occasions, not just Christmas.
• Watercolouring embossed designs allows you to add subtle colour without overwhelming the texture.
