Monochromatic Lamination Gown Card

Create a sophisticated monochromatic card by using the same ink colour for both the solid and detailed portions of the lamination stamp. This produces a tonal, elegant effect with subtle depth.

Step by step

1. Ink the solid portion of the lamination stamp with your chosen colour (e.g. teal). ▶ watch 40:15
2. Stamp the solid portion onto your card stock. ▶ watch 40:30
3. Spray the inked area with water to create a soft finish. ▶ watch 40:45
4. Dry the card completely using a heat tool. ▶ watch 41:00
5. Ink the detailed portion stamp with the same colour as the solid portion. ▶ watch 41:30
6. Line up the detailed portion with the coloured base and stamp it on top. ▶ watch 42:00
7. Stamp multiple times to build up the colour and definition in the design. ▶ watch 42:30

Tips from the show

• Using the same colour throughout creates a sophisticated, tonal look.
