Create an interactive scratch-off card using the holiday travel stamp set combined with the trendy triangles cover plate. The card features a hidden message beneath a protective sticker that reveals when scratched, perfect for surprise announcements or party invitations.

Step by step

1. Stamp the passport design from the holiday travel set onto white card stock using black ink. ▶ watch 18:45
2. Add arrow stamps pointing in your chosen direction to indicate movement or direction. ▶ watch 19:15
3. Tilt the trendy triangles cover plate on its side to create a flash or dynamic shape rather than an upright tree effect. ▶ watch 20:30
4. Stamp the reveal sentiment onto the white waist area of your card base. ▶ watch 23:15
5. Layer coloured card stock over the white space to create depth and bring through the cover plate detail. ▶ watch 24:00
6. Position a scratch sticker over your stamped message, ensuring it is straight. ▶ watch 26:00
7. Use a coin to gently scratch away the protective layer to reveal the hidden message underneath. ▶ watch 26:45

Tips from the show

• The protective plastic layer on the stickers prevents damage to stamped or written messages underneath, even with firm scratching.
• You can write your own personalised message under the sticker instead of using pre-stamped sentiments.
