Coordinated Shabby Chic Album or Multi-Card Set

Create a coordinated album or set of cards using three matching paper pads in the same colour tone but different patterns. The papers layer beautifully together and can be embossed for added texture and dimension.

Step by step

1. Select pages from the three coordinating paper pads, noting that all three match in colour tone despite different patterns. ▶ watch 48:15
2. Layer the papers together, mixing the stripe, floral, and solid designs. ▶ watch 48:30
3. Optional: run the layered papers through an embossing folder to add texture. ▶ watch 48:45
4. Sand the embossed edges back lightly to reveal the white core of the card stock. ▶ watch 49:00
5. Glue the layered papers onto a card blank or album page. ▶ watch 49:15
6. Repeat with different design combinations to create a coordinated set of cards or album pages. ▶ watch 49:30

Tips from the show

• The papers have a white core, so they run beautifully through embossing folders.
• All three pads match in colour tone, allowing you to create varied designs whilst maintaining colour harmony.
• Use the 7 by 7 size to avoid waste when creating 8 by 8 card blanks.
