Embossed Love Card with Decorative Folder

Use a 6x6 embossing folder featuring 'love' in all four corners to create a textured, romantic card base. The embossed design can be enhanced with gilding wax or left plain, and pairs beautifully with the black and gold paper collection.

Step by step

1. Select a piece of card stock in cream or your chosen colour. ▶ watch 47:15
2. Cut the card to fit your embossing folder (approximately 6x6 inches). ▶ watch 47:30
3. Place the card into the embossing folder, ensuring it's centred. ▶ watch 48:00
4. Run the folder through your die-cutting machine according to the folder's instructions. ▶ watch 48:15
5. Remove the card carefully from the folder. ▶ watch 48:30
6. Optional: apply gilding wax to the embossed areas using your finger to highlight the texture. ▶ watch 49:00
7. Trim the card to your desired finished size if needed. ▶ watch 49:30
8. Mount onto a card base or use as a finished card front. ▶ watch 50:00

Tips from the show

• The embossing folder has 'love' in all four corners, so you can cut it into quarters and use individual elements if desired.
• Gilding wax enhances the embossed details and adds a luxurious finish.
