You Are So Lovely Aperture Card with Scene Setting

Create a stunning card using the You Are So Lovely die set to cut an aperture window in your card blank. Layer beautiful scene-setting papers and embellishments behind the aperture to create a framed focal point with depth and dimension.

Step by step

  1. Take a card blank from your stash and position the You Are So Lovely aperture die in the centre of the card. ▶ watch 34:45
  2. Run the card blank through your die-cutting machine with the die to create the aperture window. ▶ watch 35:00
  3. Select a piece of vellum or patterned paper from the You Are So Lovely collection to place behind the aperture. ▶ watch 36:30
  4. Secure the backing paper behind the aperture using foam pads or adhesive to create dimension. ▶ watch 37:00
  5. Fussy cut embellishments from the You Are So Lovely embellishment pack, such as animals or foliage. ▶ watch 40:15
  6. Attach the fussy-cut elements to the front of the card using foam pads to add height and create a layered scene. ▶ watch 40:30
  7. Add additional embellishments or stamped sentiments to complete your card design. ▶ watch 41:45
