Decorated Gift Wallet with Embellishments and Card Insert

An embellished version of the folded wallet featuring decorative elements, floral toppers, and a coordinating card insert inside. This creates a complete gift package that can hold a handwritten message or small keepsakes.

Step by step

1. Create a folded wallet using your chosen square cardstock following the basic folding technique. ▶ watch 17:30
2. Select embellishments from your Creator card kit or leftover embellishment packs. ▶ watch 18:00
3. Arrange floral elements and decorative pieces on the front of your wallet to create visual interest. ▶ watch 19:00
4. Adhere embellishments using glue or 3D foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 19:45
5. Cut a coordinating piece of cardstock to fit inside the wallet as a card base. ▶ watch 22:00
6. Trim your insert card to the appropriate size using a guillotine cutter or scissors. ▶ watch 26:45
7. Decorate the front of your insert card with additional embellishments or patterned paper panels. ▶ watch 28:00
8. Add a swing tag or label to the top of the wallet using elastic or string. ▶ watch 36:00
9. Place the decorated insert card inside the wallet pocket. ▶ watch 40:00

Tips from the show

• Use 3D foam pads to make embellishments stand out and add dimension to your design.
• You can write a sentiment or message on the inside card before inserting it into the wallet.
• A swing tag with elastic creates a professional, giftable finish.
