Vintage Serendipity Mosaic Card with Layered Panels

A sophisticated card using the Serendipity mosaic stamp combined with vintage pattern papers and embossing folders. The design features layered gold and mirror board panels with the large stamp cut into sections for a modern, artistic look.

Step by step

  1. Ink up the Serendipity mosaic stamp with black ink and stamp it onto white card stock to create a crisp, detailed impression. ▶ watch 24:15
  2. Cut the stamped design into four equal squares using a guillotine, cutting down the centre both horizontally and vertically. ▶ watch 26:15
  3. Mat and layer each of the four stamped squares onto pieces of mirror board, creating a gold border around each square. ▶ watch 29:30
  4. Cut strips of teal, black and mirror board card to create the base layers for your card front. ▶ watch 37:15
  5. Arrange and adhere the matted squares and pattern paper panels onto the layered card base, positioning them off-centre for visual interest. ▶ watch 43:30
  6. Add optional hand-coloured detail using sparkle pens or coloured pencils to tie the design colours together with the pattern paper. ▶ watch 45:00
