Glitter Paste Textured Card with Rose Focal Point

A luxury card featuring a die-cut classic rose as the focal point, mounted on mirror card with an iridescent glitter paste textured background. The encapsulated glitter adds shimmer without mess.

You will need

Step by step

1. Take a piece of cardstock and apply gold glitter paste using a spatula, dragging it across the page to create texture. ▶ watch 34:45
2. Add white glitter paste in a swiping motion to create additional texture and iridescent effect. ▶ watch 35:15
3. Allow the glitter paste to dry completely (it dries quickly despite being thick). ▶ watch 35:45
4. Mount the textured piece onto mirror card to add extra shine and luxury. ▶ watch 36:15
5. Attach your previously completed die-cut rose design to the centre of the textured background. ▶ watch 36:45
6. Add a sentiment or decorative tile to complete the card design. ▶ watch 37:15

Tips from the show

• Glitter paste is encapsulated, so you can run your hand over it without getting glittery hands.
• You can thin the glitter paste if you prefer a lighter texture application.
• The glitter paste works beautifully on fabric as well, and is washable at 40 degrees.
