Snow Burst Embossing Folder Card with Red Border

Create a festive card using the snow burst embossing folder, which produces a spatter of freckle-like dots. Mount this onto a contrasting red border for a simple yet striking design that works for any occasion.

Step by step

1. Run your patterned paper through the snow burst embossing folder. ▶ watch 40:15
2. Trim the embossed piece to remove ragged edges and create a smaller rectangular card shape. ▶ watch 40:30
3. Cut a piece of red card stock slightly larger than your embossed panel to create a border. ▶ watch 41:00
4. Adhere the embossed panel to the red card base, ensuring an even border on all sides. ▶ watch 41:30
5. Mount this onto your card blank using foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 42:00

Tips from the show

• The snow burst embossing folder does not have to be used for Christmas; it works for any occasion.
• You can add a flower or other embellishment in the centre of the embossed design to fill space.
