4x4 Glueless Box with Holly and Berry Paper

Create a large coordinating gift box using the envelope and box maker tool with Holly and Berry patterned paper. This glueless box holds items like chocolates, perfume or beauty products and requires no adhesive to assemble.

You will need

Step by step

1. Select a 12 by 12 piece of Holly and Berry paper for the largest box size. ▶ watch 42:00
2. Place your paper on the XL line of the box maker tool and score down the left side. ▶ watch 43:00
3. Score across the paper, then line up the XL marking again and punch to create the first set of holes. ▶ watch 43:15
4. Rotate your paper and repeat the scoring and punching process three more times, always aligning with the XL line. ▶ watch 43:30
5. Flip the paper over and punch out the small triangular corners that need to be removed. ▶ watch 44:30
6. Create the eyelet system by placing the corner into the punch slot and punching to form the glueless closure. ▶ watch 45:00
7. Score along all the internal lines you've created with the tool. ▶ watch 45:15
8. Fold up the sides and hook the eyelets together to close the box without any glue. ▶ watch 48:00

Tips from the show

• Take your time scoring to avoid wonky lines.
• Do a practice box on scrap paper first to refresh your technique before using your best papers.
• The box is held together entirely by the eyelet system with no glue required.
