Festive Stamped Scene Card with Layered Elements

Build your own Christmas scene by stamping multiple images to tell a story. This project layers the puppy, cat, house and snowfall stamps to create a personalised narrative, finished with a box frame containing snow and gems for a dimensional effect.

Step by step

1. Create small masks from cardstock to help position your stamps precisely on the card. ▶ watch 18:15
2. Ink up the Festive Day stamp and stamp it onto your card base, using a brayer if you find it difficult to apply even pressure. ▶ watch 18:45
3. Remove the mask and continue building your scene by stamping additional elements in sequence. ▶ watch 19:00
4. Colour your stamped images using your preferred medium, building up the scene gradually. ▶ watch 19:15
5. Add a small amount of blue ink around the edges to tie the design together. ▶ watch 19:45
6. Place snow and gems into the bottom of a box frame, then position your coloured card inside. ▶ watch 20:00
7. Add mirror card to the back of the frame and secure everything together. ▶ watch 20:15

Tips from the show

• Use a brayer to apply pressure evenly if stamping is difficult.
• You can use this as a gift, table centrepiece, or add LED candles inside for extra impact.
