Embossed Moroccan Decor Background Card

A sophisticated card using the Moroccan Decor 3D embossing folder to create a textured, patterned background. Layer with decorative papers and stamps to create depth and visual interest perfect for any occasion.

Step by step

1. Select a piece of white or decorative cardstock for your base. ▶ watch 40:00
2. Apply spray ink or watercolour washes to create an iridescent rainbow effect on your cardstock. ▶ watch 40:15
3. Place the cardstock into the Moroccan Decor embossing folder and run through your die-cutting machine using two to three meal plates. ▶ watch 40:30
4. Lightly sand back the embossed surface to reveal white highlights and add dimension. ▶ watch 40:45
5. Layer the embossed background onto your card base. ▶ watch 41:00
6. Add your main stamped topper or focal image on top of the embossed background. ▶ watch 41:15
7. Finish with any additional embellishments or details using white gel pen. ▶ watch 41:30
