#CONE 07 ORTON BOX 25

The Orton Cone 07 is a pyrometric cone that bends at a specific temperature (976–987°C) during firing, helping you determine the approximate temperature reached in your kiln. If you work with ceramics, pottery or other heat-dependent crafts, these cones are an essential tool for monitoring your firing process accurately.

Place a cone on a small piece of unglazed bisque inside your kiln, then observe it during firing. As your kiln reaches the target temperature, the cone will bend, giving you a reliable visual indicator that you've reached the right heat level.
