#Battwash approx. 1KG from Potterycrafts is a protective powder designed to safeguard your kiln shelves from glaze damage. If you work with clay and ceramics, this essential tool will help extend the life of your kiln shelves and keep them in excellent condition.
Mix the battwash powder to a single cream consistency, then brush it evenly over your kiln shelves before firing. This protective coating acts as a barrier between your pieces and the shelf, preventing glaze from bonding to the surface. For best results, reapply battwash regularly to maintain that protective layer and keep your shelves working beautifully for years to come.
