Create a stunning celebration card featuring a heat-embossed Eiffel Tower stamp layered in white and gold embossing powder. The design is stamped onto patterned paper and finished with paper-pieced flowers and a sentiment, creating a sophisticated multi-dimensional card.

Step by step

1. Select your A6 stamp set featuring the Eiffel Tower design and prepare two pieces of patterned paper from the Bloom and Grow pad as your base. ▶ watch 0:45
2. Use an antistatic bag and sticky ink pad to stamp the Eiffel Tower design onto your first piece of patterned paper in white embossing powder. ▶ watch 1:15
3. Ink the stamp twice to ensure all intricate details of the bouquet flowers surrounding the tower are fully captured. ▶ watch 1:45
4. Apply white embossing powder to the inked stamp and heat set with a heat gun, chasing the design until all detail is visible. ▶ watch 2:45
5. Repeat the stamping process on a second piece of patterned paper, this time using gold embossing powder instead of white. ▶ watch 3:15
6. Heat set the gold embossed design with your heat gun, ensuring all powder is melted and the detail is crisp. ▶ watch 4:45
7. Use the coordinating die that comes with the stamp set to cut out the Eiffel Tower from the gold embossed piece, aligning it at the sphere at the top. ▶ watch 6:30
8. Trim your papers to size and run the die through your cutting machine to create clean, precise cuts. ▶ watch 7:45
9. Manually cut away the flower elements from your design pieces to create individual flower shapes for layering. ▶ watch 8:45
10. Layer the gold-embossed tower on top of the white-embossed tower piece, creating a two-tone effect. ▶ watch 10:00
11. Attach the cut flower pieces using small amounts of glue and cinch the ends slightly to create subtle 3D lift without using large foam pads. ▶ watch 11:00

Tips from the show

• Stamping onto patterned paper softens the design and adds visual interest.
