Scratch and Reveal Interactive Card with Max and Friends

Create an interactive scratch-and-reveal card using cute animal stamps and pre-scratch stickers. The recipient scratches away the sticker to reveal a hidden message or sentiment underneath, making it perfect for games, surprises or special occasions.

Step by step

1. Stamp one of the cute animal images (mouse, fox or elephant) onto your card base using the A5 stamp set. ▶ watch 7:00
2. Stamp the arrow designs around the animal if desired. ▶ watch 7:15
3. Decide on your hidden message—either stamp a sentiment from the set or hand-write your own message underneath the animal. ▶ watch 7:30
4. Select one of the pre-scratch stickers (gold or silver circular or rectangular shapes) from the set. ▶ watch 7:45
5. Carefully peel the backing from the sticker and position it over your stamped or written sentiment to cover it completely. ▶ watch 8:00
6. Press the sticker down firmly to secure it. ▶ watch 8:15
7. Write 'Scratch here' or similar instruction on or near the sticker so the recipient knows what to do. ▶ watch 8:30
8. The recipient can now scratch away the sticker to reveal your hidden message. ▶ watch 8:45

Tips from the show

• You can use these cards to play games—create six cards with different tasks or activities underneath for everyone to scratch one.
• The hidden message can be anything: a holiday destination, a chore, a movie choice, or a personal sentiment.
