Step by step

  1. Create or use a pre-made decorative background with inky, textured effects. ▶ watch 32:45
  2. Cut a mask from adhesive paper or masking tape to position over your background, leaving space for the character stamp. ▶ watch 33:00
  3. Position the mask on your background, lifting the bottom edge slightly to avoid masking the area where you'll stamp the cityscape. ▶ watch 33:15
  4. Stamp the City Lights stamp (London scene) over the masked background using black ink, ensuring good coverage. ▶ watch 33:30
  5. Remove the mask carefully and reposition it to protect the cityscape area. ▶ watch 34:00
  6. Stamp the Great Show character (French lady) over the top using black ink, positioning her within the masked area. ▶ watch 34:15
  7. Remove the character mask and stamp the Just Married car stamp into the designated area, ensuring the magnets on your platform keep stamps in position for re-inking. ▶ watch 35:00
  8. Add white gel pen details to the character's face and features to enhance definition and create shine lines. ▶ watch 35:30
  9. Stamp a lamp post from the Trendsetter set onto separate card stock and colour it, then adhere it to the scene for additional dimension. ▶ watch 36:00
  10. Mount the finished stamped panel onto a black matte card base, then onto a forest green card base for contrast and framing. ▶ watch 36:45
