Create an elegant card featuring a glamorous lady with a paper-pieced sparkly gown. This sophisticated design combines stamping with paper-piecing techniques, where a decorative patterned paper dress is cut out and layered onto a white card topper with a pink border. The result is a stunning fashion-inspired card perfect for special occasions.
Select a patterned paper with sparkly or glittery designs in festive colours such as bronze, copper, or gold. This will be used to create the lady's gown on your card.

Stamp the lady image in black ink directly onto the patterned paper. Position the stamp carefully to ensure the image is centred on your chosen paper.

Using small scissors, carefully cut out just the dress portion of the stamped lady image, following the outline of the garment. Cut away the head, arms and legs, leaving only the sparkly gown shape.

Cut a piece of white card stock slightly smaller than your black card blank to create a topper base. This will form the foundation for your card design.

Carefully position and glue the paper-pieced sparkly dress over the stamped lady's dress area on the white topper.

Mount the completed white topper onto a pink card blank using foam pads for dimension. Position the topper centrally on the card base and press down firmly to secure.

Add a sentiment stamp to the white panel to complete your card. Position the stamp towards the top or bottom of the panel, leaving the stamped lady image as the focal point.
