Stag and Tree Line Layered Christmas Card

A multi-layered card featuring die-cut stag and tree line elements in coordinating papers. The trees create a 3D landscape effect with the stag positioned as a focal point, giving an elegant woodland Christmas look.

Step by step

  1. Cut the stag die from white cardstock using your die-cutting machine. ▶ watch 27:30
  2. Cut the tree line die from your chosen paper colour, noting that it stays within the page boundaries. ▶ watch 29:30
  3. Select a patterned paper from the Merry & Bright pad and trim to size for your card base panel. ▶ watch 30:45
  4. Adhere the patterned paper panel to your card blank, leaving a clean border down one side. ▶ watch 35:30
  5. Layer the first tree line piece using foam pads to create dimension, positioning it to fill any gaps. ▶ watch 36:00
  6. Add a second tree line piece at a different height, trimming the excess as needed. ▶ watch 37:00
  7. Secure additional tree line pieces using foam pads, varying their heights to create a cascading effect. ▶ watch 37:45
  8. Cut a pre-printed sentiment from the collection and adhere it below the tree line arrangement. ▶ watch 39:00
  9. Add optional embellishments such as glitter glue or sparkle accents to the tree lines or sentiment. ▶ watch 40:00
  10. Secure all layers with tape or glue, ensuring nothing shifts, and display your finished card. ▶ watch 41:00
