General Chestnut Stamped Background Card

Build a sophisticated card using General Chestnut with a stamped background technique. Stamp the chestnut design in grey as a background, then layer dimensional pieces on top with coordinating embellishments.

Step by step

  1. Stamp the General Chestnut design onto your card base in grey ink to create a subtle background. ▶ watch 50:45
  2. Apply the layering stencil to create coloured areas on a separate piece of cardstock. ▶ watch 51:00
  3. Die cut the stencilled and stamped pieces using the coordinating die. ▶ watch 51:15
  4. Layer the die-cut pieces onto your card base using foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 51:30
  5. Add a sentiment to complete your card design. ▶ watch 51:45
