Decorated Pocket Page with Stacking Elements

Create an interactive page within your album by layering multiple pocket pieces at varying heights to form a stacking pocket design. This technique adds depth and visual interest whilst allowing you to store different items in each pocket.

Step by step

1. Glue a matten layer piece onto the page as your base foundation. ▶ watch 46:30
2. Position and glue the first pocket piece near the top of the page, securing it at the bottom edge only. ▶ watch 48:00
3. Glue the second pocket piece at a mid-level position, slightly overlapping the first pocket. ▶ watch 50:00
4. Attach the third pocket piece at the bottom of the page, creating a cascading stacked effect. ▶ watch 52:00
5. Decorate each pocket front with embellishments such as rivets or punched details using your circle punches. ▶ watch 54:00

Tips from the show

• Ensure you glue pockets only at the bottom and sides so items can be inserted and removed easily.
