3D Embossed and Scored Star Embellishment

Place the star stencil in your Sizzix machine with embossing mat and run through to create raised detail

Cut out the embossed star shape carefully with scissors

Score three lines across the star from point to point using a scoring tool and ruler, measuring to ensure accuracy

Turn the star over and score three more lines on the reverse side to create all the fold lines needed

Fold the star along all scored lines, creating valley and mountain folds to form the 3D shape

Press all the points together to help set the folds and shape the star into its 3D form

Apply colour using an ink pad, pressing it onto the raised surfaces of the star

Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the inked star to cover it completely

Heat set the embossing powder with a heat tool until it melts and becomes shiny

Raise the star points back up to their full 3D position once the embossing powder has dried
