Create a beautiful card featuring stamped daffodil and blossom designs, coloured with watercolour or oil pastel pencils, then fussy-cut around the flowers and mounted onto a white card base with sequin embellishments. The result is an elegant card with dimensional detail and sparkle.
Stamp the daffodil design onto white cardstock using the make memories stamp set.
Stamp the blossom design onto a second piece of white cardstock.
Colour the first stamped design using watercolour pencils, scratching colour onto the petals and leaves, then blending with a wet brush.
Colour the second stamped design using oil pastel pencils, laying down a light colour first, then adding darker shades and blending with circular motions.
Draw two faint pencil lines down either side of the coloured flower design to mark your cutting lines.
Cut along the pencil lines using scissors, keeping the lines as straight as possible.
Fussy-cut carefully around the flower petals and details, twisting the card rather than the scissors to maintain a neat edge.
Stamp a sentiment from the set onto the coloured panel.
Glue white sequins onto the coloured panel for sparkle and dimension.
Mount the decorated panel onto the white cardstock base using glue.
Share your make with the Stamps By Me community - and keep this guide for next time.
