Inked and Embellished Sentiment Card with Boots Die

Create a spring-themed card featuring the boots die inked in earthy tones, layered with a vibrant spray-inked background, and finished with a heartfelt sentiment. This demonstrates combining multiple techniques for a polished final card.

Step by step

1. Die cut the boots from cardstock. ▶ watch 40:00
2. Create a spray-inked background on cardstock using multiple colours. ▶ watch 40:15
3. Adhere the background to your card base. ▶ watch 40:30
4. Ink the boots die with a dark brown pigment ink pad. ▶ watch 40:45
5. Adhere the inked boots to the centre of the card. ▶ watch 41:00
6. Die cut the 'just because' sentiment from white cardstock. ▶ watch 41:15
7. Adhere the white sentiment below or beside the boots. ▶ watch 41:30
8. Optional: apply glossy accent to the boots for shine and dimension. ▶ watch 41:45
9. Optional: add white gel pen highlights to the boot toe for extra detail. ▶ watch 42:00
