A project from our live show ANYTHING GOES - Join Toni for her mid-week show where you get to decide what we do - Broadcast 1st June 22 · 01/06/2022 · watch it from 9:45

Step by step

  1. Place a stencil on white card stock and spray through it with saffron spray ink, using even coverage. ▶ watch 10:30
  2. Lift the stencil away carefully to reveal the print, then place a fresh piece of white card on top of the wet design to create a second negative print. ▶ watch 11:30
  3. Peel away the second card to see both the positive and negative prints. ▶ watch 12:00
  4. Repeat the stencilling process with butterscotch spray ink on a new piece of white card stock using the same stencil. ▶ watch 12:15
  5. Spray morning mist ink generously onto white card through the stencil, allowing some bleed for added texture. ▶ watch 14:00
  6. Remove the stencil quickly to prevent excessive bleeding and achieve a cleaner print. ▶ watch 14:45
  7. Stamp a butterfly design repeatedly across one of your sprayed background pieces to create a full pattern. ▶ watch 23:30
  8. Mount the stamped background onto black card stock to make the colours pop. ▶ watch 31:00
  9. Adhere a washi tape sentiment strip across the card. ▶ watch 33:00
  10. Glue a heat-embossed butterfly die-cut to the front of the card as a focal point embellishment. ▶ watch 34:15
