Layered Hellebore Flower Card with Embossed Details

Craft a beautiful card showcasing the delicate hellebore flower with its pre-printed, double-sided paper that creates realistic shading without colouring. Layer the die-cut flowers with coordinating leaves and optional 3D centres for a sophisticated botanical design.

Step by step

  1. Select a coloured paper from the hellebore collection that appeals to you, noting the pre-printed shading and veining on both sides. ▶ watch 22:45
  2. Place the connected die set onto your die-cutting machine, ensuring the paper is positioned correctly with the printed side facing up. ▶ watch 23:00
  3. Run the die set through your machine in one pass to cut all three flower sizes and the accompanying leaves simultaneously. ▶ watch 23:15
  4. Pop out all the cut pieces from the carrier sheet, revealing the double-sided printed flowers and leaves. ▶ watch 27:30
  5. Layer the three flower sizes together, starting with the largest, then medium, then smallest, using a small spot of glue in the centre. ▶ watch 28:45
  6. Position the two leaves beneath the layered flowers, angling them naturally to frame the bloom. ▶ watch 29:00
  7. Add the optional 3D centre piece by rolling the small sprigly element and securing it in the flower's centre with glue. ▶ watch 29:15
  8. Adhere the completed flower cluster to your card base, positioning it as a focal point or in clusters as desired. ▶ watch 32:00
