A handmade calendar gift featuring decorated pages with themed gnome elements, creating a card-a-month gift. Each page is embellished with coordinating designs and left with blank space for personalisation or additional decoration.

Step by step

1. Assemble the flat-packed calendar by cinching the centre to build up the structure. ▶ watch 8:15
2. Plan your theme; this example uses gnomes coordinating with the collection. ▶ watch 8:30
3. Create A6-sized toppers featuring your chosen design elements to decorate each month. ▶ watch 8:45
4. Stamp, colour and embellish each topper to match your theme. ▶ watch 9:00
5. Adhere the decorated toppers to the blank space on each calendar page, keeping the opposite side clear for notes. ▶ watch 9:15
6. Optionally decorate the back cover of the calendar as well. ▶ watch 9:30

Tips from the show

• Leave the blank space on the opposite side of each month to avoid an unbalanced calendar when mountain layering.
• The 250 GSM cardstock pages can be worked on directly with stamps, inks and markers, or you can create separate toppers to adhere.
• Include the free A5 sheet of stickers with your gift so the recipient can personalise their calendar further.
