Embossed Rose Card with Layered Leaves and Sentiment

A finished card design combining the embossed rose technique with stamped leaves, sentiment text, and optional corner embellishments. Shows how to build a complete card using multiple elements from the kit.

Step by step

1. Start with a white top-folding note card base. ▶ watch 54:30
2. Add a sparkly teal textured panel to the card. ▶ watch 54:45
3. Layer black and grey stamped leaves as a background element. ▶ watch 55:00
4. Position the embossed rose in the centre of the design. ▶ watch 55:15
5. Add a sentiment stamp below or beside the rose. ▶ watch 55:30
6. Optionally fussy cut and position a white embossed rose in a corner. ▶ watch 55:45
7. Trim away sections of the corner rose with scissors to change its format if desired. ▶ watch 56:00
8. Apply sparkle or additional embellishments to complete the card. ▶ watch 56:15

Tips from the show

• You can change the position and format of embossed elements by trimming them with scissors.
• Play around with your designs and don't be afraid to experiment.
