Coloured Cardstock Layered Design

A simple but effective card demonstrating how different coloured cardstock backgrounds completely transform the appearance of the same stamped and layered design.

Step by step

1. Stamp and colour the daffodil as described in the layered daffodil project. ▶ watch 31:15
2. Fussy cut around the daffodil shape. ▶ watch 31:30
3. Layer the daffodil onto a piece of blue textured cardstock. ▶ watch 32:00
4. Observe how the blue background changes the appearance of the design. ▶ watch 32:30
5. Try the same daffodil on orange cardstock and note the different effect. ▶ watch 33:00
6. Experiment with green, yellow and red cardstock to see how each transforms the design. ▶ watch 33:30
7. Choose your preferred background colour and mount the daffodil onto it. ▶ watch 34:00

Tips from the show
