Stitch-Framed Leaf Card with Embossed Centre Circle

Create a card with the Timeless Stitch die forming a gold-outlined frame, with Maple and Lime leaves embossed and popped around a central circle aperture for a sophisticated, dimensional design.

Step by step

1. Die-cut the Timeless Stitch die to create a frame with a central circle aperture. ▶ watch 51:00
2. Outline the stitch detail with a gold gel pen or embossing powder for definition. ▶ watch 51:30
3. Die-cut the Maple and Lime leaves from coordinating cardstock. ▶ watch 52:00
4. Emboss the die-cut leaves using an embossing powder and heat tool. ▶ watch 52:30
5. Pop the embossed leaves around the central circle using foam pads for dimension. ▶ watch 53:00
6. Mount the entire design onto a card base. ▶ watch 53:30

Tips from the show

• Embossing the leaves adds extra dimension and makes them stand out from the background.
• The gold stitch frame creates an elegant border for the leaf arrangement.
