Strawberry Margarita Quattro D Card with Stencil Layering and Splat Stamping

Create a vibrant strawberry margarita cocktail card using the Quattro D stencil layering system combined with artistic splat stamping and 3D embossing. The design captures the look of a refreshing drink with dimensional ice cubes.

Step by step

1. Position stencil number one on your card with the number facing you and apply orange ink through the stencil. ▶ watch 54:45
2. Remove stencil one and line up stencil number two, ensuring the number is facing you, then apply orange ink to add fruit detail in the top corner. ▶ watch 55:15
3. Position stencil number three with the number facing you and apply dark ink to create the glass shadow and rim detail. ▶ watch 55:45
4. Stamp the artistic splat design using black ink pad to create the liquid and splash elements of the cocktail. ▶ watch 56:15
5. Optionally colour the stamped splat design using mixed media, paints or watercolours if desired. ▶ watch 56:45
6. Position the completed design into the 3D embossing folder, lining it up carefully. ▶ watch 57:30
7. Run the card through your die-cutting machine with the embossing folder to create dimensional ice cubes and embellishment. ▶ watch 58:00
8. Remove from the embossing folder and admire the 3D effect on both front and back of your card. ▶ watch 58:30

Tips from the show

• The stencil numbers must face you to ensure the design is not reversed.
• You can add sparkle or glossy accents to the glass to make it look more realistic.
• All ten Quattro D designs are sized to work together beautifully if you want to build a scene or collect the full range.
