Circle Infinity Shaker Card

Create a unique circular shaker card using the round Infinity Acetate window. This innovative shape offers a fresh alternative to traditional rectangular shakers and creates a striking focal point.

Step by step

1. Select a circular Infinity Shaker card window from the packet. ▶ watch 20:00
2. If you don't have a circle die, use the shaker window as a template and pencil around it onto cardstock. ▶ watch 20:15
3. Cut out the circle by hand, cutting just inside the pencil line for a neat fit. ▶ watch 20:30
4. Push all the teeth of the shaker window inwards gently. ▶ watch 20:45
5. Apply red liner tape or similar adhesive around the back edge of the circle. ▶ watch 21:00
6. Peel off the protective film from the acetate to reveal the crystal-clear surface. ▶ watch 21:15
7. Place the cardstock circle face down inside the shaker window. ▶ watch 21:30
8. Pour sequins, beads or other embellishments into the shaker. ▶ watch 21:45
9. Fold each tooth around the edge one at a time, working your way around the circle. ▶ watch 22:00
10. Mount the finished circular shaker onto a card base or use as a decorative element. ▶ watch 22:15

Tips from the show

• You don't need a die-cutting machine to create the circle—hand cutting works perfectly and the imperfections won't show once it's in the shaker.
• The circular format is forgiving and very effective for wedding invites and special occasion cards.
