Clean and Simple Stencilled Card with Sentiment

A finished greeting card featuring the abstract tulip stencil design mounted on a pink top-folding note card with a small bird stamp sentiment and gold splat accents for added sparkle.

Step by step

1. Flatten your completed stencilled design using an acrylic block to ensure it lies flat before mounting. ▶ watch 42:30
2. Select a small sentiment stamp from the bird stamp set and stamp it onto a small strip of white card using black ink. ▶ watch 43:00
3. Trim the sentiment strip to size using a guillotine or craft knife. ▶ watch 43:45
4. Apply glue to the back of your stencilled design and mount it onto a pink top-folding note card. ▶ watch 45:00
5. Place a large acrylic block on top of the mounted design to ensure it sticks down firmly without lumps or bumps. ▶ watch 45:30
6. Once the glue is dry, glue the sentiment strip onto the card, positioning it to cover any small imperfections if needed. ▶ watch 46:15
7. Add final details using a sparkle pen to enhance the card's finish. ▶ watch 47:30

Tips from the show

• Use a large acrylic block placed on top of mounted elements to ensure they stick down evenly without creating bumps.
• You can also stamp the design on the back or front of the matching envelope for a coordinated look.
