Step by step

  1. Run the holographic paper through the embossing folder and die-cutting machine to create embossed and cut floral pieces. ▶ watch 23:00
  2. Carefully remove the die from the embossing folder by gently peeling away the tape to access individual embellishments. ▶ watch 24:15
  3. Prepare white cardstock pieces and spray them with water to create a wet surface for watercolour painting. ▶ watch 26:45
  4. Drop teal ink into the wet paper, allowing it to naturally disperse into the embossed veins and details. ▶ watch 27:00
  5. Add pink ink to the centre of the flower whilst the paper is still wet, allowing the colours to blend naturally. ▶ watch 27:30
  6. Leave small areas of white space in the centre of each petal to create the effect of light coming from above. ▶ watch 28:00
  7. Paint additional embellishments such as leaves and smaller flowers using green and other coordinating colours. ▶ watch 29:00
  8. Create a colourful background by spraying a card base with water and dropping yellow and orange ink into the centre. ▶ watch 37:00
  9. Add teal splashes to the background to tie in with the flower colours and create cohesion. ▶ watch 38:30
  10. Adhere the painted floral piece onto dark holographic cardstock using adhesive. ▶ watch 42:00
  11. Stamp a sentiment onto the card in black ink to complete the design. ▶ watch 47:00
