About DOILIES

The Sweet Dixie Doilies category is perfect for card makers, stampers and scrapbookers who want to add delicate, decorative detail to their projects. Whether you're creating elegant cards, layered scrapbook layouts or mixed-media designs, doilies bring a touch of vintage charm and intricate patterning.

This collection features a range of doily cutting dies from Sweet Dixie, each with its own unique design. These dies are designed to cut precise doily shapes from cardstock, specialty papers and other materials, allowing you to create consistent, professional-looking doilies every time. Crafters typically use doily dies to add decorative layers behind focal points, create backgrounds with delicate patterns, or produce standalone embellishments that add texture and visual interest to their work.

When choosing a doily die, consider the overall style of your project—some designs work beautifully with vintage and heritage themes, whilst others suit contemporary layouts. It's worth experimenting with different cardstock weights and colours to see how each doily design performs, and remember that layering multiple doilies in contrasting colours can create stunning dimensional effects.
