A project from our live show CATCH UP with the Create Together Club - Inspiration Video 5 for Stamp A NOTE TO SAY - SHOW 29th Oct 21 · 29/10/2021
A striking black card featuring a large typewriter stamp heat embossed in white. This creates a bold, detailed focal point with excellent definition of all the typewriter elements including the scattered alphabet and decorative details.
Take a piece of black cardstock and prepare your work surface.
Apply sticky ink pad (Versafine Onyx Black) generously to the large typewriter stamp, ensuring good coverage of all details.
Stamp the typewriter firmly onto the black cardstock, pressing down well to capture all the detail.
Stamp the image a second time to ensure you have complete coverage of all the fine details.
Use an anti-static bag to remove excess moisture from the stamped image.
Apply white heat embossing powder over the wet ink, coating the entire stamped image.
Heat set the powder with a heat gun, moving it across the image until the powder melts and becomes shiny.
Once cooled, carefully cut around the typewriter image with scissors, trimming away excess black cardstock.
