A project from our live show CATCH UP with Toni for the HAPPY SHOPPING LAUNCH in the HTCN studio broadcast 15th Dec 21 · 15/12/2021
A sophisticated card featuring a die-cut rose design with stencilled ink blending through the aperture, layered with white embellishment pieces and finished with sequins and gems. The design creates a clean, elegant look with subtle colour gradation.
Cut the A4 rose die through white card stock using your die-cutting machine.
Slot the die back into the die-cut to use as a stencil, ensuring it clicks into place.
Blend orange ink through the stencil at the base of each rose using a blending brush.
Blend pink ink into the centre of the roses for added depth.
Add subtle green ink to the foliage areas with a light hand.
Remove the die to reveal the stencilled design with score lines.
Glue the white layering flower embellishments on top of the main design, allowing some to lift slightly for dimension.
Adhere white and pink tropical leaf elements underneath the flowers to add interest.
Mount the completed design onto pearlised pink card as a backing layer.
Glue the sentiment mat and layer onto the card front in the centre.
Apply glue dots and add oyster sequins and pink gems around the design for sparkle.
Glue a layered butterfly element to the lower portion of the card and lift the wings for dimension.
